Book SaleSave the date! The Friends of the Northwest Library will be hosting a book sale Saturday, January 26, 2013.  The book sale will be in our meeting room from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will have gently used hardcover and paperback books, VHS tapes, CDs, DVDs, audio books, magazines and much much more! 

Are you afraid, you might forget?  Don't fret, call us 281-890-2665 or come on in and get yourself on our e-mailing list.  We will send you a friendly reminder when our book sale is just around the corner.

Did you consider reading a book while you waited to pass the time?  Yes, a book, eBook or audio book to help you out during those grueling hours of waiting and waiting and waiting. You could have checked out a book/audio book ahead of time or downloaded eBook/eAudio right then and there. I assure you, time would have flown by! Happy Birthday Whoopi Goldberg!

Today in 1955 Whoopi Goldberg was born! Did you know that aside from being an actress, comedienne, radio disc jockey, producer, singer-songwriter, talk show host, and Broadway star she is also an author? Yes she writes children's fiction and non-fiction books and adult biographies.  Come on in and pick up one of these books. You're sure to get a few laughs in the adventures of the ballerinas and learning a little about manners.

Are you a wimpy kid fan?

The many ways to renew your items

Loan periods for DVD and VHS for one week. Book, CD and Audio for two weeks. Items may be renewed up to two times, depending upon demand.

These are the ways you can renew:

3. Contact your local branch

4. Download BookMyne app to your mobile phone or device

5. Download HCPL Mobile app to your mobile phone or device

You will need your 14 digit library card number 240280******** and 4 digit pin number to be able to renew with any of these methods.
