We have launched a new audio book library just for you.  One Click Digital has thousands of new titles available for your ear enjoyment. Come in and learn about this new service or click on the link to start now.  Listen on your computer or on any Apple device.  You can still enjoy our audio collection through Overdrive for you die hard fans!  Your ears are going to love you either way, so stop reading this and start downloading some audio books! 

 

Quilting Bee

Be at the Bee! Our very own Quilting Bee will be held here at the Northwest Branch starting Tuesday April 24, 2012 @Quilt, Quilting Bee 2pm.  The Bee will continue to be held every Tuesday @ 2pm.  You are welcome to bring your projects, share your ideas or come in and learn a new craft.  

The process of quilting uses a needle and thread to join two or more layers of material to make a quilt. This sounds easy enough. I'm in!

Did you know that walking is the most popular form of physical activity in the United States? 10,000 steps per day – about 5 miles – is a great way to walk your way to fitness. Wednesday, April 4th is National Walking Day. Everybody get up and walk for your health. Walk to our library and check out DVDs and books to help you get started!
