Black History Month Saturday @ the Movies

Join us this weekend to celebrate Black History Month with a special movie!  On Saturday, February 16th at 2:00 PM we will be showing a special movie about the famous Tuskegee Airmen of World War II.  Call the branch for title and rating information.

IRS Small Business Workshop

Do you know your tax responsibilities as a small business owner? Join us this Saturday, February 9th at 1:00 PM.  This free workshop is designed to inform business owners of their federal tax obligations. Gregory E. Where's My Mitten?

While the weather may not be cooperating for a wintry feel, we’re still celebrating Winter here at the library!  Join us on Tuesday, January 29th at 10:30 AM for a Preschool Storytime all about mittens!  If you’re not able to attend but still want to take part, here are some books you can read to your child about mittens, as well as a fun craft!

Have you ever wondered exactly what Free Play Day for ages 0-5 is?  We often get that question, and it's difficult to answer.  But it's easy to show!  Watch the video below and be charmed by this amazing program that we have the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:30 AM!

 

New Volunteer Orientation

Do you want to learn how to be a volunteer at the library so that you can get volunteer hours for school or other organizations?  Join us tonight for our next New Volunteer Orientation!  Volunteers must be 12 years old or older, though anyone younger is welcome to volunteer with a parent or guardian.  Pick up applications at the Information Desk.  The orientation starts promptly at 6:30 pm, so please be on time!
