We're counting on you!

CountingPatron Count Week is coming, and that means we need volunteers!  So what does that mean for you?

Patron Count Week is June 12-18, 2011.  We need a volunteer to sit at a table in our lobby every hour the library is open to the public to count each man, woman, and child who enters.  Sound like a big job?  It’s not!  Anyone who knows their numbers is welcome to help out.  In between counting, you can even catch up on the latest celebrity gossip with a magazine or keep your nose in your favorite book!

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers neededOur library is a great place to volunteer!  We will be offering a New Volunteer Orientation session on Monday, June 6th at 6:30 PM in the meeting room.  We accept volunteers of all ages, though any volunteers under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering.  Once you have attended the orientation and submitted your volunteer application, you are able to volunteer any time the library is open to the public!
