Works of Heart

Preschool PicassosOur very first Preschool Picassos Art Camp was a huge hit! The children decorated some lovely piggy banks and made them true works of art. They also painted some beautiful fall leaves, and in some case, themselves! Our next Preschool Picassos will be on Thursday, October 15th at 10:30 AM.

Preschool Picassos: Coming Soon to a Preschooler Near You!

What do you get when you mix small children and finger paint? While you could potentially have a very colorful child, you also get our Preschool Picassos!
Our Preschool Picassos Art Camp is making its debut this Thursday, September 17th at 10:30 AM. Our preschoolers will be making art with finger paints, little piggy banks, and other fun media. Bring your preschooler by to have some creative fun!

Grin and Bear It

Coffee BearLast Thursday, our littlest customers got creative at our Infant Process Craft! They created their very own bears using honey, cinnamon, and dry coffee grounds. The use of the textures and scents stimulates the senses—and the bears came out looking cute!
You can make a bear of your own by downloading the template.

Get Crafty!

Bottle Cap MagnetsLast Saturday we had a great craft—we made Bottle Cap Magnets! They’re so easy and fun to make. Here’s what you need…

  • Bottle caps
  • Magazines
  • A Pencil
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • A Quarter
  • Small Magnet

Look through your magazine until you find a small picture you like. It must fit within the size of your Quarter for it to be able to work! If it does, use your Quarter to trace a circle around your picture. Using your scissors, cut the picture out neatly so that it will fit within the inside of the bottlecap.
