Family TreeDon't miss our upcoming FamilySearch genealogy workshop on Monday, 3/18/13 from 12:00-3:00pm.  The workshop will be led by Sue from the Clayton Library, one of the top 10 genealogy libraries in the country.  Come learn how to use the FamilySearch website and wiki to improve your genealogy searching.

FriendshipEveryone needs a friend - including the library.  The Friends of the Katy Library provide the funding for all of our programming.  If you've come to a craft program, you've used supplies they bought.  If you've joined in our annual birthday celebration, you've eaten food they provided.  If you've enjoyed the garden in our back courtyard, you've appreciated the time, money, and sweat they've given.  Support the library and its Friends by coming to the annual book sale on Saturday, 3/16 at the VFW Hall on George Memorial Drive in Katy.  You can also support them by buying a book in the lobby or a tote bag at the front desk.  Even better - become a Friend yourself today!  Ask at one of our service desks, and we'l
