Perfect – sort of

Letting Go of PerfectI heard a quote I liked recently: “Eighty percent is perfection”.  What a relief!  Hearing this made me think of parents who want their children to be so good at something – so perfect – that the child ends up physically or emotionally hurt by it.  On the other hand, some children seem to be born with a desire to be perfect that can drive a parent crazy.   Take a look at a new book by Dr. Jill L. Adelson and Dr. Hope E. Wilson: Letting Go of Perfect.
