HEY KIDS…A BOOK CLUB JUST FOR YOU!

Register now for the KIDLIT Book Club... enjoy discussion, crafts, puzzles, games and snacks for the book “Dodger and Me” .   The club is limited to 15 children (3rd – 5th grade) and will meet at 1:00 pm on Mondays, February 7th and 21st  in the Children’s Department.

SHADOW PUPPETRY IN THE CHILDREN’S DEPARTMENT!

...learn about the art of Shadow Puppetry and create a bird puppet at Art Explorers on Monday, January 24th at 1:00 pm and Tuesday, January 25th at 4:30 pm.
Registration is required and limited to 20 children per session (grades 2nd - 6th). Stop by the Children’s Reference Desk or call 832-559-4235.
 

CHUGGA, CHUGGA, CHOO CHOO!

Every Thursday (January 13th thru May 12th) children ages 2 - 6 and their parents are invited to register for the Choo Choo Club! Work with your child each week on literacy activities that focus on a specific letter and theme. We guarantee a “train load” of fun as they create, explore and become ready readers!
Required registration begins 1 week in advance.  Stop by the Children’s Reference Desk or call 832-559-4235. This program meets in the Children's Department and is limited to 20 children and their parents.
 

“SOCK IT” TO ME AT CRAFT TIME IN THE CHILDREN’S DEPT!
