A Hug for a Community in Hurt

We send our condolences and best wishes to you whose lives have been affected by the Riley Road forest fire.

We are here to help you find the resources you need to heal, recover, and move on. The library has computers, printers, scanners, meeting rooms, and the usual non-fiction and fiction items your would expect; children's programs, reference librarians to help you find resources, and a pleasant place to spend some relaxing time. Let us help you find the solutions you need.

We want you to use the library. So if you have lost your library card or identification, etc., please know that we will do everything we can to work with you.

Alicia Mitchell exhibition in Meeting Room

Alicia Mitchell was born in El Paso and lived there until she retired. Even if you didn't know that, her paintings would have betrayed the fact that this artist is native to the desert. She has a wonderful command of both the subtle colors of the desert dryness and the brilliance that breaks out after a desert rain. Come and see her landscapes, still lifes, and portraits this month in our Meeting Room, L-129.

The Mystery Book Club is Awesome

On the 4th Thursday of every month, at 1 pm, a small group of mystery lovers gathers in the Friends of the Library Room from 1-3 pm to discuss mystery stories. They talk about all kinds of mysteries--funny, classic, and cozy mysteries; mysteries with sex and without sex and mysteries with violence and without violence. The club is free and it’s open; come and join them at any time.
