Support the Summer Reading Program!

Hey! Don't know what to do with all those paperbacks you've already read? We are really in need of used paperback adult fictions books for our book sale. Remember, all proceeds from the Friends of the Library Booksale goes towards our Summer Reading program here at the library. You get a chance to clean out that corner, and our library kids get quality summer reading programs! It's a win-win situation!  You can also request a receipt for charitiable contributions!

Tuesday Movie

Don't forget our Tuesday Movie is coming up!!  I think the girls are going to like this one better then the boys, the theme is pink, with some frog green thrown in!  Come on down for a good time!!  We'll be serving popcorn and watching on the big screen on Tuesday April 27, 2010 at 4:30 pm, in the meeting room!

Children's Easter Craft!!

    Please join us on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 4:30 pm for some Easter Craft activities. First we'll be decorating egg cutouts, then we'll be making a neat Holiday door hanger out of them. Recommended for ages 6-12.

                                             

BOOK SALE WEEKEND!!!

Don't miss our book sale  this weekend! Friday 3/26/10 1pm to 6pm, Saturday  3/27/10 10 am to 5 pm and Monday 3/29/10 1 pm to 5 pm. All proceeds go to our Summer Reading Program.  So help yourself to some great deals, and help your community at the same time!

Movie Madness During Spring Break!!

Kids getting a little "wild" ? Looking for some free entertainment for the kids? (other then ripping your hair out by the handfulls)  Come on down to Octavia Fields for our special movie presentation!  Thursday, March 18, 2010 at a special time of 2:30 pm, we'll be showing a movie for your entertainment on the big screen in the meeting room!  Popcorn will be provided! We'll also have our regularly scheduled movie on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 4:30 pm. So come on down and enjoy a movie with us!
