Murder in Texas; Book Club that is!

The Mystery Book Club has decided to explore the many Texas Mystery Writers.  Great Texas authors include Rick Riordan, Bill Crider and Kinky Friedman.  See if you are able to discover more and present them at the April Book Club Meeting on April 21 at 2 pm.  Come enjoy the lively discussion while enjoying a taste of Texas food.  We welcome new comers and how to see you there.

Patron Count Week

Are you looking for something to do during spring break?  The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library needs volunteers to do patron count week.  This means you sit at a table and count the customers that enter the library.   Please contact Cindy at 281-821-1320 if you are available to help us count the customers of the library.   The week of March 14th through the 20th are the days we will need the help.  The hours we need are only the hours we are open to the public.  Please consider helping us count at the library.

Outreach Programs. What are they?

Money a problem for you?  Don't know where to get your next program for your school, day-care or senior center?  Come by or contact the library at 281-821-1320 and talk to your library staff at Baldwin Boettcher.  We will try to accommodate your outreach needs.  Ms Nancy is already visiting day care centers close to the library.  Does your local school need a puppet show, science program or some type of show to demonstrate a lesson to your class?  Does your local senior group need a musical presentation, movie, book talk or other type of program presented to them at a meeting or their main meeting area?  Please think of the library as the place to provide you this program.  So the first step would be to call or contact the library and then we will arrange for the necessary program to be presented at your location.
