Basic Computer Classes @ Your Library

Are you an adult who needs to learn computer basics? If so, please plan to join us each Tuesday at 1 pm for computer classes.  Instructor Celeste Plew will review "Computer Basics" and answer your questions.  Each Tuesday at 4 pm, computer classes are taught in Spanish.  Please call for more information: 713-450-0982

BABY TIME @ YOUR LIBRARY!

If you have little ones, join us for Baby Time each Thursday morning at 10:30 am. This short interactive program introduces board books to children. Plus we sing songs, dance and play with the parachute! Toward the end of the brief program, we open the toy box for fun time with educational toys, including building blocks. And we end each program with bubbles!! The babies love to watch the bubbles, try to touch them and pop them! Plus we now have  "Early Literacy" floor puzzles as well as "Sight and Sound Tubes" as a gift from the North Shore Rotary Club!

Toddler Time @ Your Library

Parents, grandparents and kids, join us on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am for Toddler Time! Children 18 months old to 3 years of age are welcomed into a vibrant half hour fun time of sharing books with Miss Kim and Miss Michelle. This activity enriched educational time also includes songs kids can sing and dance to as well as building blocks and other educational toys. Selected programs conclude with an age appropriate craft. TAX HELP @ YOUR LIBRARY

LAST chance!  If you need help preparing your taxes, now is the time to come to the North Channel Library. Thursday, April 11th,  from noon to 4 pm, the experienced pros from AARP will be here to prepare tax returns for low income and elderly customers. Please bring your tax return from last year as well as your W-2's and other papers for this year. You may sign-up as early as 10 am this Thursday inside the Library!
