Basic Computer Classes @ Your Library

Are you an adult who needs to learn computer basics? AARP Tax Help @ Your Library

If you need help preparing your taxes, you can come to the North Channel Library. Thursday April 10th, for the LAST time this tax season,  the experienced pros from AARP will be here from noon to 4 pm to prepare tax returns for low income and elderly customers. Please bring your tax return from last year as well as your W-2's and other papers for this year. Toddler Time @ Your Library

Parents, grandparents and kids, join us on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am for Toddler Time! Children 18 months old to 3 years of age are welcomed into a vibrant half hour fun time of sharing books with Miss Kim and Miss Michelle. This activity enriched educational time also includes songs kids can sing and dance to as well as building blocks and other educational toys. Selected programs conclude with an age appropriate craft. PRESCHOOL STORY TIME: TUESDAYS @ 1:30 PM

Three to six year old children and parents are invited to join us for Preschool Story Time on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm. Senior Children's Assistant Kimberly Tiller shares her favorite stories, old and new! Plus we share songs, fingerplays and occassional crafts! Come join in the fun!

Election Day for Primary Voting - March 4th

Tuesday, March 4th, is Primary Election Day from 7 am to 7 pm. In the City of Galena Park, Democrats and Republicans will vote at separate locations. Democrats will vote at Galena Park City Hall - 2000 Clinton Drive. Republicans will vote at the Galena Park Library- 1500 Keene Street. Precinct 0460 voters who normally would vote at the North Channel Library will be voting at two separate locations, depending on your political party affiliation. The League of Women Voters of Houston Education Fund makes available the LWV Voters Guide at the Galena Park Branch Library.
