 Find selected tax forms and booklets that you may need in the Lobby of the North Channel Library! We have  the basic 1040  forms and instruction booklets to share.  And, yes, we have Extension Forms! Please see the IRS website for more information: www.irs.gov

FREE Forum on Immigration & Citizenship!

Take the Challenge International invites you to a FREE forum on immigration and citizenship on Tuesday, March 19th from 6 pm to 7:45  pm in the North Channel Library Meeting Room at 15741 Wallisville Rd., Houston, TX 77049   An immigration attorney will be present to inform you about the "Dreamers Act." VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! BECOME A LITERACY TUTOR

You can help another adult learn to read! Register for the Literacy Tutor training sessions to be held at the North Channel Library on Friday, February 22nd from 1-4:30 pm. Literacy Coordinator, Steve Zach, will present unique information to help you become an effective Literacy Tutor. Once you are trained as a Literacy Tutor, you will have the opportunity to meet your new student for one-on-one sessions at the Library. You and the student will decide on the schedule that best meets both of your needs.  The North Channel Library has two Study Rooms that you can schedule for sessions with your student. Early Voting for the Special Runoff Election for State Senate District 6 starts Wednesday, February 20th at the Galena Park Library at 1500 Keene St.
