HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

We hope that you enjoy the Memorial Day holiday! The North Channel Branch and all Harris County Libraries will be closed both Sunday, May 30th, and Monday, May 31st. We will reopen Tuesday, June 1st, at 10 am. If you need to renew materials, please remember to phone the Renewal Line at 713-747-4763 or visit our website at:  www.hcpl.net  You will need your library barcode number and 4 digit PIN to renew using either of these services. If you return materials to the Book Drop, do NOT leave them on the Front Porch if the Book Drop is full. Please keep your materials. When you bring the materials back once we reopen, just let us know that the Book Drop was full and we will waive your fines. See you after the holiday!

SNAPSHOT DAY @ YOUR LIBRARY

North Channel Library is TAKING PART IN “Texas Library Snapshot Day”
The North Channel Public Library is joining libraries across the state in participating in “Texas Library Snapshot Day” on Tuesday, May 4th, to show how important libraries are to the state of Texas. Library volunteers and staff will invite your comments, compile statistics, take photographs, and gather other data that will describe a typical day at our library.  The results collected will be added to those of other libraries across Texas to show how libraries provide invaluable services to Texans. We invite you to help us showcase the great learning opportunities, return on educational investment, and value of libraries.
