LEARN ARABIC @ YOUR LIBRARY

Are you interested in learning the Arabic language? Then come to the North Channel Library this Saturday, January 16th,  at 11 am. We have a volunteer instructor who speaks and writes the Arabic language fluently. If enough people come to show an interest in learning Arabic, we will schedule more classes. Make your participation count! See you @ the Library this Saturday!

PROCTORING @ YOUR LIBRARY

Do you need to have a test proctored? Please contact us to see if we can help you. If you are studying on your own online, but still need to have your final exam protored, we may be able to help. Call us or come in to speak to us about the requirements of your educational group. If we are able to protor your test, the most appealing factor is that we offer this service for FREE at the North Channel Library! We also have quiet Study Rooms that you can reserve for testing. BOOK DROP @ YOUR LIBRARY

When we are closed for the holidays, you will be able to return books and other library materials to our Book Drop. Santa's most excellent elves will be emptying the Book Drop once each day we are closed. Please do not put your books in bags as this can sometimes cause the Book Drop to clog up. If you do come to return your materials and find that the Book Drop is too full or blocked, please do NOT leave your library materials on the front porch. Please keep your things with you. When we reopen, bring in your materials, tell us about the problem you had and we will gladly check-in your materials fine free! Happy Holidays!

LEARN ENGLISH @ YOUR LIBRARY!

The North Channel Branch is now accepting applications from adults who would like to learn to read, speak and write English. Classes are free of charge and are taught by trained volunteers. It doesn't matter what your native language background is, our tutors can help you. Group classes are available weekdays and evenings. Please ask us for an application form. Once your application is submitted, you will be contacted by our Literacy Coordinator and matched to the correct class. New classes will begin in the New Year! For more information, please call us at: Ph. 281-457-1631
