MONDAY MOVIE MADNESS!!

Kids of all ages, join us for an after school movie on Monday, November 23rd starting at 4:30 pm! You'll need to call us for the title, but we know it is one that you will like! No tickets required! Plus you can bring a snack and a drink--(with a lid, please)! Settle down for the adventure of a lifetime, featuring a boy, a dog and an old man--and a lost GPS device! Up, up and away we go! QUIET TIME - A GIFT FROM THE SEA

As you hustle and bustle about, making ready for the upcoming holidays, take a moment for quiet reflection this week. Join us for the North Channel Book Club meeting on Wednesday, November 18th at 10 am. We will be discussing the timeless classic, Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Even though this book was published more than 50 years ago, the writer's insights into the needs of the everyday woman are as current today as when she first shared them. Para Los Ninos

Para Los Ninos will be presented on Tuesday, November 10th, at 10:30 am in the Toddler Time slot at the North Channel Library. Raising a Reader is one of a series of programs developed by the Children's Museum of Houston, featuring bilingual stories and activities. This interactive program includes lots of tips for helping your young child to learn. The one-on-one program is recommended for children ages 0-7 and their parents/caregivers. For attending, you will receive a Children's Museum pass good for 6 people!!

After we walk you through the steps once or twice, you'll be able to place your own holds on the titles that interest you. Reserve your favorites today!

HALLOWEEN IN THE LIBRARY!

Wear your Halloween costume to the Library and join in our holiday fun! Children are invited to join us for a special Story Time on Wednesday, October 28th at 4:30 pm. Plus we'll help you make a spider--and give you a treat bag at the end!
