PLAYGROUP @ YOUR LIBRARY!

Parents and caregivers of precrawlers, crawlers and toddlers, bring your little ones to the "Discover with Me Playgroup" guided by Ms. Claudia! You and your little ones will learn fun things while you play together, like basic sign language for "I want some milk." You will be guided in unique, developmental play strategies. For example, you will learn new ways to play with a laundry basket-! Play dates are: Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4 pm on March 3rd, 24th and 31st; Fridays from 2 to 2:45 pm on March 19th and 26th. Ms. Claudia is an educator with extensive pre-school background. The playgroup is designed for one adult working with one child, so sorry, no groups may attend. Please give us a call if you need more information: Ph. 281-457-1631

EXERCISE @ YOUR LIBRARY!

Need to shape up in the New Year? In addition to checking out an exercise book or video, consider volunteering at the North Channel Library. You can see all our new books and DVD's as you lift and shelve them! This will increase your mental AND physical agility! We are looking for the few, the proud, the brave adults who can help us shelve materials weekday mornings. Ask for Christina or Carolyn to volunteer. Start your day out right with a Library workout!
