Texans love libraries!

What do library services mean to you?  Do you check out books or movies?  Use our computers?  Attend our free computer classes?  Check out our programs for children, teens or adults?  Or just come to meet with groups or friends?  We are asking you to help us tell the Texas legislature how much library services mean to you.  Between now and February 10th you can fill out a postcard that will be presented to the Texas legislature on TLA Legislative Day.   Check out our Texans Love Libraries display to pick up a postcard. You can also fill out an online survey to make sure your voices

Opera to go at North Channel!

We are very excited to present a performance of Opera to Go by the Houston Grand Opera.   Join us at the library on Wednesday, January 19th at 4 PM as Opera to Go presents "Opera Cat." "Opera Cat" will be mostly sung in spanish and is based on the book by Tess Weaver.   This performance is purrrrfect for all ages!
