Summer Reading Program starts Friday!

School is almost out and that means it's almost time to registers for the 2010 Harris County Summer Reading Program.  Beginning this Friday, June 4th, registration will be available online at www.hcpl.net or here at the North Channel Library.  We have reading programs for everyone.  Children age 0-12 can "Catch the Reading Express" by logging either 10 books, 500 minutes of reading, or 500 pages read.  After reaching this level, come in to the library to collect your certificate of completion and free book.  Teens (12-18), did you know that "Within Arms Reach...The Future Is Yours?"  Read 5 books or complete 600 minutes (10 hours) of reading this summer for your certificate and book.  And adults (18+), we didn't forget about you!  "
