It's not too late to sign up for the Summer Reading Program!

Summer craftDid you know that it's not too late to sign up for the 2012 Summer Reading Program?  You can keep reading and logging your books until August 11th.  Don't forget we have programs for Children, Teens & Adults:

Children (age 0-12)  Read or listen to any 10 books or log 500 minutes and receive a free book and certificate of completion while supplies last.

Teens (age 12-18) Read or listen to any 5 books or log 600 minutes and receive a flash drive bracelet while supplies last.

Library Closed for 4th of July

fireworksThe library will be closed this Wednesday, July 4th, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.  So don't forget to come in early this week to get your reading materials!  We've got a new display featuring books that are filled with all kinds of family activities to do this Independence Day (and the rest of the summer too, come to think of it).

Science Quest @ the Library

Mr. Bartell, a veteran scientist, will make science come alive with dazzling experiments when we visits the North Channel Library on Wednesday, June 20th at 2:30 pm.  Join us!

Arts Alive @ North Channel Library

Kids playing dress upJoin us this Wednesday, June 13th at 2:30 pm for our next big summer program-Arts Alive!  Arts Alive will present a program featuring dramatic movement and play.  This year's theme is Crazy Careers.  You won't want to miss it!  See you Wednesday!

Storytimes Year-Round @ North Channel

Storytime funWith the start of summer you may have noticed all the extra children's programming we do.  But don't forget about our year-round storytime programs too!  As you can see in this picture from our preschool storytime, we have lots of fun!  Our storytime schedule is:

Toddler Time (18 months - 3 years) every Tuesday at 10:30 am

Preschool Storytime (3 years - 6 years) every Tuesday at 1:30 pm

Babytime Storytime (0 to 18 months) every Thursday at 10:30 am
