High Meadows’ African American history month essay contest returns this year. The contest is open to residents of the High Meadows area between the ages of 13 and 18. Come see us at the library for a full list of rules and submission guidelines. Submissions will be accepted through February 27.

High Meadows goes reptilian.

The Traveling Naturalist visited High Meadows this Tuesday. Attendees got to learn about and pet lizards, snakes, alligators and turtles. The Traveling Naturalist will be returning at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, February 16 with Animal Senses.

Sign Language Lessons are coming to High Meadows

This February High Meadows will be hosting sign language lessons. So come join us. Learn some sign language. Details to come.

High Meadows will be hosting free job search seminars this January. Seminars will run from 10 am to 12 noon every Wednesday. It all starts Wednesday, January 6 with “Creating a Resume / Completing the Application”.
