This storytime is sure to delight! No tickets are required for this event. So, spend a little time with these great teens and see quality leadership in action!

Film ScreenersDid you know that we screen the latest film releases at the library? Every Monday at 4:15 PM, we show a current film. It is fully projected and played in surround sound! So, why pay those rental fees and late fees, when you can come to the movies for free. Bring your popcorn and settle in for some movie fun! Contact the library for titles and details.

August 27th Book Sale - - It only happens three times per year!

Book SaleYes... Yes... Step right up! The tri-annual Friends of the Northwest Library Book Sale is happening the last Saturday in August! Come to the library on Saturday, August 27th from 10AM-4PM and pick up some quality bargain books. All proceeds go directly to benefit the library. Prices as low as 50 cents an item! You can't beat that (even at a discount store).

Scarlet Letter - A Love Story for Valentine's Day

Have you seen the movie Easy A with Emma Stone? This modern day version is taken to task when compared to the original Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Join our Classic Readers for the tale of Hester Prynne's tragic love and the ostracism of her restrictive community. The discussion will be on Monday, February 27th at 2:00 PM. Come and join in the book discussion of The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff. This time traveling tale surrounds the reader in the world of polygamy, history, the founders of the Mormon Church and modern day mystery.
