Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks. We will be celebrating all we're thankful for in our Multilingual Storytime on Monday, November 22 from 11:00 to 11:30. Children, aged 3- 6 will hear Thanksgiving stories and make "thankful" turkeys.

It's not too late to register to read your favorite Halloween story to one of the R.E.A.D. dogs. They will be here Saturday, October 30 from 1:00 to 2:30. The R.E.A.D. dogs willl be in the Katy Branch Library on Saturday, October 30 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, and they're ready to celebrate Halloween. Come on in and read your favorite scary story to one of them. The Reading Education Assistance Dogs are trained therapy dogs. These dogs, along with their handlers provide an irresistible, fun enviornment for children to practice their reading skills. Registration is recommended.
