EVELYN MEADOR BUILDING PLANS ARE MOVING FORWARD

Although we’ve reached the end of the 2009 Summer Reading Program, there is still plenty of excitement in store for the Evelyn Meador Branch! The groundbreaking for the new building is scheduled for October 8th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a reception at the Seabrook Community House (1210 Anders Lane) next to City Hall. Construction is planned to start shortly after this and we are hoping to open in late 2010 or very early 2011. Stay tuned for further developments!

That’s not bad for a library that is closed!
