Found it!Don't just sign up your kids and grandkids for our 2012 Summer Reading Program! Sign yourself up, too! At Northwest Library, you can read four books and pick out a free book to take home. Also, there are fabulous gift baskets that will be given out to ten lucky participants. So, while you sign up the little ones, sign yourself up, too! Early registration will be available on our website beginning May 31st.

The library has so many resources to answers all your Valentine's Day questions. You can use our computers and check out what the History Channel says. You can research our databases and find out details about the holiday. How about checking out a book on St. Valentine, himself? So, now... love is not just in the air, it's in the library, too. Celebrate African American History Month with the Bookless Wonders

Maya AngelouThe Bookless Wonders Social Group will discuss the poems of Maya Angelou in celebration of African American History Month. The discussion will be held on Valentine's Day, February 14th at 2:00 PM. Chocolates and flowers will be given out to the attendees. So share in the love that Maya Angelou represents and join us for a casual discussion of her poetic works.

Gingerbread Workshop

Gingerbread HouseCome and make a sweet treat in time for the holidays. We will be having two sessions of our ever popular Gingerbread Workshop. This program is for children ages 5-12. Come on Saturday, December 11th. Sessions will be at 2:00 & 3:00 PM. Tickets will be given out 30 minutes in advance of each session. First come, first gingerbread!
