The Tax Man Cometh

Yes! We finally have the 1040 instruction booklets and forms!  We also have  1040 EZ, and 1040-A forms and instructions.  If you are looking for a form we don’t have, no worries, just log on to The IRS website and download the forms.  You still have plenty of time to file those taxes , the deadline has been extended to Monday, April 18th.

We would like to invite you to the  friends of the Maud Marks Library booksale on Saturday, Feburary 26th.  Hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM.  Come  check it out, there will be books, magazines, cd's, videos, and  much more. Nothing costs over a dollar!

A NoveList Idea

Looking for a good book, and tired of waiting for your favorite author to write another? Don’t know what you feel like reading?  Then check out NoveList Plus an electronic reader’s advisory service for fiction and nonfiction. This is a data base that will recommend author read-alikes.  Find by author, genre, or enter a novel you liked and get recommendations for similar books. Read all about it!

Did you get an eReader for Christmas and wish to download books for free?  No problem, it's as simple as using your library card.  Just log on!  Don't have a library card, visit your nearby library (Maud Marks) and sign up.

Share Your Holidays Food Drive

The annual Share Your Holidays Food Drive will be held this Friday, December 10th in the library parking area!  Please bring your non-perishable food donations by the library between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.  We will have live entertainment by the Taylor High School Jazz band at 9:00 am, and at 4:00pm don't miss the hand bell performance by the Living Bells of Living Word Lutheran Church.   We also have a collection box in the library if you would like to drop off your donations earlier. All donations will go to Katy Christian Ministries and will stay within the area.
