The Friends of the Maud Marks Library will be holding a booksale this Saturday, July 24th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be an early bird preview sale on Friday evening from 6-8 pm for members only. Membership is open to anyone wishing to support our library. Single membership is only $10.00 a year, family membership for $25.00. There promises to be a large varity of items for every interest. There will be plenty of books for children and adults, plus audio cds , video dvds and vhs style movies to choose from.  This might be the best bargain in Katy, nothing priced over a dollar!

 Looking for a good book or movie for the weekend? Stop by the library and check out our  selection of  holiday movies and books. You might want to pick up several  extra in case bad weather ruins your outdoor  plans and because we will be closed on Sunday and Monday in observance of the 4th of July holiday.

Chickens, Goats and Sheep, OH My!

Ever want to pet a goat or maybe  a chicken? Join us  this WEDNESDAY, June 16 from 2 to 4 pm and fullfill that wish! MARSHAS PETTING ZOO will be here with lots of animals for you to pet. This activity is for the entire family, all ages are invited, and no tickets are needed. Come and enjoy the animals.
