Fourth Week of the Summer Reading Program

Mysterious Monday, June 27 at 2:15 pm is a PIrate Party!  There will be things to do and snacks to eat, and you can dress up like a pirate.

Remember this is the week to sign up for Toddler Times for the July and August  times.  These are programs for the 18 month to 3 year olds.  We have  them on Tuesdays at 10 am or 11:15 am and Thursdays at 10 am. 

Free tickets for Steve Burton, the Magician. Thursday, June 30,  are available on Friday, June 24.

Third Week of the Summer Reading Program

Don't forget to get your free tickets beginning on Friday, June 17, after 1 pm  for the Annual Variety Show  held on Thursday, June 23, at 10:30 am and 2:20 pm in the Childrens' Activity Room.  (For that day only, Toddler Time and Mother goose Lapsit will be cancelled.)

 For Mysterious Monday, June 20 at 2:15 pm, Miss Elizabeth has planned a Texas Door Hanger craft.

Tuesdays are busy with Toddler Time, Preschool Storytime, plus Can You dig It - ReadAloud at 1:30 pm and the new Waddlers at 5 pm.

You might want to bring a pillow for the Fabulous Friday Movie Marathon June 24  beginning at 2:15 pm.  There is still free popcorn.

Second Week of Summer Reading Program

For Mysterious Monday, Miss Elizabeth has a Father's Day pennant craft planned, 6/17 at 2:15 pm. All materials are provided.  Join Miss Connie on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm for the Can You Dig It? ReadAloud.  She is reading: Thor's Marriage by Bruce Coville.

No sign-up needed for Miss Sunnii's Waddlers program at 5 pm.  For Thrilling Thursday, 6/17 at 2:15, join Miss Christie for Dance Dance Revolution music and movement.Fabulous Fridays at the movies continues with our marathon, at 2:15 with free popcorn.Remember the stories children hear read during library programs can be added to their reading logs.

 

Last Week of May Children's Activities

During this last week of May, we will be having sign-up time for the spaces still available in June for our 3 Toddler Times which are Tuesdays at 10 am and 11:15 am and Thursdays at 10 am.Our new Waddler Time will be on Tuesdays at 5 pm.   Waddler Time is for the little ones who are too old for Lapsit and not quite ready for Toddler Time.  There is no sign up necessary for Pre School Storytime on Tuesdays at 10:30 am and  2:20 pm .Dragoneers will have their Award Ceremony on Thursday 5/26 at 4 pm.  They will be making a treasure box and having snacks. Fabulous Fridays at the movies has family friendly movies at 4 pm with free popcorn.The Library will be closed on Monday, 5/30 for the observance of Memorial Day.

Hawaii Theme for Asian Pacific Heritage Month in the Children's Area

Aloha! Join  Miss Penny for a Marvelous Monday craft, 5/16 at 4 pm, making Hawaiian necklaces.

Remember that Tuesday Pre School Story Time meets at 10:30 am and 2:20 pm.  All are welcome, with no sign-in necessary.

Thrilling Thursday, 5/19 at 4 pm is our Hawaiian Party with MIss Connie!  We will be making leis,  cracking open coconuts, learning about hula dancing, playing some games, and having some island snacks!

Fabulous Fridays at the Movies, 5/20 at 4 pm,  will be showing a family-friendly movie with free popcorn.
