All teens are invited to come in this Monday, Aug.27 at 4 pm to come and create this study pillow  small enough to fit in your backpack on a long field trip and lean against your school bus window and also  great for doing homework (or a card table on that same field trip!)    Snacks will be provided as will all craft materials!

DVD Release Party!

Come and celebrate the DVD release of the blockbuster movie of the year on Monday, August 20th at 3:30 pm.  We will be enjoying a variety of snacks.  All teens are welcome to attend.  May the odds be ever in your favor!

The Trolls are coming!

Come and create these clever little guys from Norway!  They haunt bridges and get outsmarted by goats.  They turn to stone in sunlight and are reportedly very stupid.  In a very popular book and movie, a full grown Mountain troll was defeated by it's own club and a wand up the nose.  In another favorite tale it took an elf, a dwarf, a wizard, two men, and four hobbits to defeat the great ugly thing.  In my favorite cartoon show from when I was little they were a little more cunning, but were alway outwitted by the gnomes! They're trolls of course!  Come make one of your very own on Wednesday, August 16th at 5pm.

Perks of Going to the Library

On September 20, The Perks of Being a Wallflower comes out in theaters.  This adaptation of the fabulous coming of age novel stars Logan Lerman of Percy Jackson and The Three Musketeers, Hermione herself: Emma Watson, and Ezra Miller known for Californication and the Royal Pains.  The trailers look fantastic and Emma Watson is stunning.

Celebrate the Olympics!

The Olympics are coming to Bear Creek!  Come on over at 2pm  on Thursday, August 9 for crafts, games, and a scavenger hunt.  There's something for everyone!  Our younger kids can enjoy our Olympic sports starting at 2pm.  For kids between 8 and 12, there will be relay races at 3pm in our meeting room.  Teens and Adults will be able to hunt for the Union flags for a chance at a prize!  Everyone should go for the gold!

Feel the rhythm! Feel the rhyme! Get on up, it's movie time!

Your seat is ready! Come on over to the library on Wednesday, August 1 at 3:30 for a fun Olympic themed movie. Everyone's welcome!

It's an Ice Cream Float Party

Come by on Wednesday, July 25 at 3:30 pm and have a nice refreshing Ice Cream Float while we watch a movie that floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee.  Stop by the Information desk starting at 2:30 pm that day to pick up your ticket.  The movie we will be watching is PG-13.  Please call and ask to speak to Jennifer for more information.

Let's go to the movies!

Movies have just begun in this sparkling movie directed by Martin Scorsese.  This magical adventure of a boy who doesn't want to truly say goodbye to his father is sure to make hearts melt or in this case start ticking away.  Join us on Wednesday, July 18th at 3:30 pm for this "inventive" edition of the PG & Up program.

Mahna-Mahna!

No drums!  No drums!  Jack Black said no drums!

Don't worry Animal. There won't be any drums at the program on Wednesday, July 11th at 3:30.  But we will be watching a movie that has you and Jack Black in it.  So go ahead and come on in, and bring your friends.

Teen time this summer

This summer the teens are watching movies every Monday at 3:30pm. This coming Monday (july2) we are watching a blockbuster movie where the new Spock meets the old and we discover exactly how Kirk cheated on the unwinnable test. Twists and turns abound in this alternate timeline and we are introduced to the new/old crew of the Starship Enerprise.
