Learn How to Turn Your Memories Into Memoirs @ your library

Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library under50over Program and the University of Houston-Clear Lake invite you to join us on three Fridays, October 7th, 14th and 21st at 10:30 am in the Marge Jacobson Community Room to learn how to make memoirs from your memories. Dion McInnis, Associate Vice President for University Advancement at UHCL is the speaker for this program series.

Victor Rocha and the Nueva Luna Dance Academy @ your library

Please join us at the Clear Lake City - County Freeman Library as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. On Thursday, October 6th at 6:30 pm, Victor Rocha and the Nueva Luna Dance Academy will dance their way through the states of Mexico. This presentation will begin in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library. It will be fun for the entire family. October Adult Crafts-to-Go!

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library will offer the continuation of the “Crafts- to-Go!” program in October.  Beginning October 3rd, we look forward to making decorative picture holders (as seen on the left.) This craft project can be made at the library or at home. All materials needed are included within the bag, while supplies last. This program and many others is made possible by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Physical Therapy and Acupuncture Presentation @ your library

Crafts-to-Go recognizes National Hispanic Heritage Month

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library will offer the continuation of the Adult “Crafts- to-Go!” program in conjunction with National Hispanic Heritage Month on Thursday, September 1st.  This time, we'll be making a fabric tube necklace and/or headband as pictured on the right. All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library.  This project will be available at the Second Floor Information Desk while supplies last.
