Fridays in February@ your library

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library anticipates Fridays as it continues the under50over Program in February2011. The schedule of events for February is to the left.* In February, under50over will host presentations on Moody Gardens of Galveston, continuing education at San Jacinto College, and Changes in Aging. At the end of the month, we will have a Movie Day.

Movie Day @ your library

Adults of all ages are invited to come to the under50over Movie Day this Friday. The title is to be announced and will begin at 10:15 am. Movie Day will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library. Light refreshments are provided by the Friends of Freeman.

Couch Potato "GS Interest Project: Exploration Journeys!" Now Open

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library continues its Girl Scout “Interest Project: Exploration Journeys!” program on Thursday, February 17th. This particular workshop will feature work towards the “Couch Potato” Interest Project Award, assisting older Girl Scouts in accomplishing certain steps towards the "Couch Potato” Interest Project Award as well as parts of various Girl Scout Journeys. The workshop will begin at 5 pm and will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library.

Come join us at 10:30 AM this Friday as Under50Over  program presents “Healthy Eating.” The “Healthy Eating” Program will be presented by Dr. Alok Kalia, MD. This program will be held in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library. Light refreshments are provided compliments of the Friends of Freeman.
