Girl Scout IP:E! - Photography, Part II

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library continues the Girl Scout “Interest Project: Exploration” program on Monday, November 15th at 4:30 pm. This particular workshop will feature work towards the “Photography” Interest Project Award, assisting older Girl Scouts in accomplishing certain steps towards the "Photography" Interest Project Award. The "Photography, Part II" workshop will take place in the Computer Lab which is located on the second floor.

under50over - Learn about Chiropractic Massage

 Dr. Adrianna Warren will speak about the benefits of Chiropractic Massage in this Friday's under50over program.
 
This will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library. The presentation will begin at 10:30 am. Please contact the Reference Desk at (281) 488-1906 or visit us on the Second Floor for more information. Refreshments are provided by the Friends of Freeman.

Performers from Partners in Time demonstrated various dances. They showed the audience partner dances such as salsa, foxtrot, and jitterbug. For your enjoyment, please check out the video from last Friday's Under50Over.

What the Girl Scouts Cooked. . .

On Saturday, September 25th, Girl Scouts donned their chefs' hats in working on the Girl Scout Interest Project Award called "Creative Cooking." This was part of Freeman's "Girl Scout Interest Project: Exploration!" program. The Girl Scouts prepared both Mexican and Taiwanese cuisines.

This particular workshop will feature work towards the “Photography” Interest Project Award, helping older Girl Scouts to accomplish some of the steps towards the "Photography" Interest Project Award. The "Photography, Part I" workshop will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room which is on the first floor.
