Girl Scout IP:E! - Photography, Part I

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library is offering the continuation of the Girl Scout “Interest Project: Exploration” program on Monday, November 8th at 4:30 pm. This particular workshop will feature work towards the “Photography” Interest Project Award, helping older Girl Scouts to accomplish some of the steps towards the "Photography" Interest Project Award. The "Photography, Part I" workshop will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room which is on the first floor.

under50over - Dance Demonstration

Come join us as Gene McEwen, local dance instructor give a demonstration and tips on dancing.

This presentation happens Friday, October 8th at 10:30 am. This will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library. under50over @ your library in October

Attention Adults of All Ages!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library highly anticipates the continuation of the under50over Program in October. The schedule of events for October 2010 is to the left.* In October, under50over will host presentations on the Harris County Courthouse, Dancing, Chiropractics, and Genealogy. Additionally, there will be a Movie Day.

All presentations except for Movie Day start at 10:30 am each Friday morning. On Movie Days, under50over begins promptly at 10:15 am. Movie Days usually take place on the last Friday of the month. Programs normally meet in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor. The light refreshments are compliments of the Friends of Freeman.

University of Houston-Clear Lake and the Clear Lake Association of Senior Programs (CLASP) present Sarah Jackson, Archivist at Harris County to talk about The Past, Present and Future of Harris County Courthouse
