Adult Crafts-to-Go!

Summer is back and so are the Adult Crafts-to-Go! Starting Tuesday, June 1st, the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library offers Adult "Crafts-to-Go!" projects at the Second Floor Information Desk. Each bag features an all-supplies included craft project. The levels of difficulty vary. This project can be made at home, too. under 50 over @ your library Summer 2010

Adults of all ages are invited to come to the under50over Movie day this Friday. The title is to be announced and will start at 10:15 am.

Friday 5/21 @ Your Library

In last Friday's under50over  Program, we enjoyed the Clear Lake Museum's presentation "From Indians to Astronauts; including a history of the Clear Lake Museum." 

Adults of all ages are invited to join us this Friday for "The Cost of Complacency for Retirees." Phillip Hawley, Independent Insurance Agent, will present. For more information, please contact the library at (281) 488-1906.

Mad about Mad Men @ Your Library

 Are you mad about Mad Men, that show about ad execs. in the early 1960s? At Freeman, one of our displays exhibits a number of books popular in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

In last Friday's under50over  Program, the University of Houston Clear Lake and Freeman Branch Library invited James C. Benson Ph.D to speak. Mr. Benson spoke about "Commonly Asked Questions About the Texas Probate System."

This Friday, we look forward to the Clear Lake Museum's presentation "From Indians to Astronauts; including a history of the Clear Lake Museum."
