Whimsical Beads Project for February "Adult Crafts to Go!"

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library continues its “Adult-Crafts-to-Go!” program on Tuesday, February 1st. In January, the project was a Sparkle Icicle. This month, adults can pick up the "Whimsical Beads" project. This project can be requested at the second floor Information Desk. This project can be taken anywhere and made anywhere. All materials needed to make the necklace are included, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library.

Fridays in February@ your library

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library anticipates Fridays as it continues the under50over Program in February2011. The schedule of events for February is to the left.* In February, under50over will host presentations on Moody Gardens of Galveston, continuing education at San Jacinto College, and Changes in Aging. At the end of the month, we will have a Movie Day.

Movie Day @ your library

Adults of all ages are invited to come to the under50over Movie Day this Friday. The title is to be announced and will begin at 10:15 am. Movie Day will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library. Light refreshments are provided by the Friends of Freeman.

Couch Potato "GS Interest Project: Exploration Journeys!" Now Open

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library continues its Girl Scout “Interest Project: Exploration Journeys!” program on Thursday, February 17th. This particular workshop will feature work towards the “Couch Potato” Interest Project Award, assisting older Girl Scouts in accomplishing certain steps towards the "Couch Potato” Interest Project Award as well as parts of various Girl Scout Journeys. The workshop will begin at 5 pm and will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library....
