TGIF Programs Presents "Using Your New (or Not-So-New) Tablet" - This Friday!

TGIF Programs at Clear Lake City-County Freeman welcomes you this Friday - January 11th at 10:30 am in the Marge Jacobson Community Room. Moises Villaseñor, Technology Training Assistant - Freeman, will be there to answer questions about various eReaders and borrowing from the HCPL Digital Media Catalog.

Girl Scouts SWAPSortunity Day is this Saturday!

Attention Girl Scouts of all ages! The Clear Lake City – County Freeman Branch Library will be hosting its very first Girl Scout SWAPSortunity Day this Saturday! SWAPSortuniy Day will be a chance for Girl Scouts and Girl Scout Leaders to come, create, and trade SWAPS (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere) with other Scouts. It begins at 10:30 AM in the Marge Jacobson Community Room.  This event will last until 3 PM.

Some crafting materials and light refreshment will be provided by the Friends of Freeman Library. One of the attached files is a list of Helpful Links.

TGIF Programs and UHCL/CLASP "How To Stay Young the First 100 Years"

TGIF Programs at Clear Lake City - County Freeman and the University of Houston - Clear Lake Association of Senior Programs (CLASP) invite you to join us Friday, January 4th at 10:30 am. The presentation will be "How To Stay Young the First 100 Years" and it will be presented by Cindy Tovar, D.C. Chiropractor, Total Bodyworks.

Origami Penguin - Crafts-to-Go!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library continues its Adult “Crafts- to-Go!” program on Thursday, January 3rd.  This month's project is an origami penguin like the one seen on the right.  All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library.  This project will be available at the Second Floor Information Desk while supplies last.

Happy 2013!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library proudly announces that the under50over Program is now called TGIF (Thank Goodness It's Friday) Programs. We look forward to the continuing tradition of excellent Friday morning programs but with our new name. TGIF Programs is made possible by the support of the Friends of Freeman Library and the Freeman Library Community.
