AARP Tax Assistance Coming

Beginning February 1 through April 16 the AARP offers free tax assistance on a first-come, first serve basis.  Hours are Monday & Friday 10 AM - 2 PM.

 

Your New Year's Resolution

There is no need to go out and buy  books on diet, getting organized, exercise, or money management.  We have them here. Our large selection of current titles will make your New Year's resolution a bit easier to achieve.

Holiday Storytime Schedule

Our infant times, toddler times, and pre-school storytimes during the holidays will be easy to remember. If the library is open, then storytime is as usual; if we are closed,  then there is no storytime.  So during winter break there is no toddler time on Tuesday, December 25 or Tuesday, January 1.

Holiday Shopping at the Library

The Friends of the Maud Marks Library are having their booksale this Saturday.  You may want  to pick up a gift for a family member, a friend or yourself. Hours are 10 am - 4 pm. Members of the Friends can come to the preview on Friday from 4:30 pm-6 pm.  Call the library at 281-492-8592 for information on joining the Friends.

Excel Class

There are a few spots left in the Excel class on Tuesday, November 13 at  7 pm and on Tuesday, November 27 at the same time. You will learn the basics of Excel, but,  please come with a basic knowledge of the keyboard and the mouse
