Margaret and her Mom

With all the presents and decorations put away its good to get back to a weekly routine of going to the library and checking out books.  Margaret and her mom are looking for princess books, a favorite of Margaret.

What Would We Do Without Our Friends?

Charlotte Brooks and Glenda Lindsay, two very special people, are celebrating their birthdays in early December. Their endless help with our book sales make it possible for us to have all the wonderful programs we offer.  Charlotte and Glenda are also on the Friends of Maud Marks Library board. Thanks Charlotte and Glenda for all your support and  we hope you have  wonderful birthdays. :)

Over the River and Through the Woods

Its here, the 2011 holidays are upon us. The library will be closed Thursday-Sunday November 24-27.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday regularly scheduled programs such as Toddler Time and Story time remain as scheduled.  Don't forget to load up on DVDs, audio books and books for your trip to Grandmas.

We have lots of things planned for December, so be on the look out for awesome classes for adults, programs for children and a special family event on December 16.

Happy Eating!

Don't Be Bored!

Come to the library and discover yourself!  Read a book, look up your ancestors, learn a language, read about the newest health craze, fix your car, take a computer class, bring your child or your neighbor's child to story time, or join a book club. The possibilities are endless. There is something for everyone.

Storytime Puppet Show

On Wednesday, September 28 at the 11:15 am preschool story time, Charity and Judy will  entertain the kids with a puppet show. The puppets we will be performing with  were bought with funds from the Friends of the Maud Marks Library. So while you  are here, check out the used books for sale or bring a few to donate.
