The Summer Reading Desk is Open for Business

Max, and other Maud Marks volunteers are hoping you keep them busy this summer with your reading progress. Remember, you still have another month to record and claim your certificate and free book. If you have already done so, keep reading and recording.  Max wants to put your name on the wall. Ribbons are rewarded after you complete 50 books or 500 pages/minutes.

Dogs in need of a good home

Hey kids, summer is here and our reading program runs June 3 -Aug 6.

Each week we are having a drawing to win one of these adorable dogs. All you have to do is come into the library and fill out an entry form with your name and phone number. If we pull your name, we will call you. One entry per day, please. Be sure to check out our weekly afternoon adventures and don't forget to  join the summer reading program. It's going to be a great summer! See you soon!

Attention Home-Schooled Elementary Age Students

The Houston Grand Opera has an Opera-to-Go performance of The Dog Who Sang at the Opera  scheduled for Friday, Feb. 18 at 2:30 pm. This program is geared for elementary students. We thought KISD was having an off day when we scheduled this event, but now it is a make-up day.
