Teens bring your friends to play board games: Zombies and Haunted House.  Stay to enjoy the pizza and soda.  Date: Thursday June 9, 3:30pm to 5pm.  Ages 12-18. 

Imagination Station!

Join the Fun!  Children's program: Imagination Station: Books, Dinosaurs, Mummies, Oh, My!!  Date of program: Wednesday, June 8, 3pm and repeated at 4pm.  Free tickets available thirty minutes before the performance.  Ages 6-18.  Must be able to sit through the program without a parent present.  What a great way start the summer!

Summer is Almost Here!

Looking forward to an exciting summer?  Don't forget your summer reading.  Adults, teens and children can sign up online as early as Tuesday May 31st and start logging books on Friday June 3rd.  The program will run until Saturday, August 6th.  Also check out our calendar for summer activities.

You are invited to attend the annual General Meeting of the Friends of Spring Branch-Memorial Library.  Date: Tuesday, May 10, 3:30pm.  Officers for the upcoming year will be elected at this meeting.

Ann Thompson will present a preview of Ariadne Auf Naxos on Monday April 25 at 7:00pm.  Join us for this fun, free presentation.  Strauss' Ariadne Auf Naxos will be performed by the Houston Grand Opera from April 29 through May 10, 2011.

Successful Plant and Book Sale

The Friends of the Library had a successful Plant and Book Sale last weekend.  A special thanks to all the volunteers who made this possible.  Thanks also to all the donors of plants and books, and  to Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant for providing refreshments.
