Strings Attached Needlecraft Group

Embroidery ThreadsDo you long to knit or crochet?  Are your fingers calloused from sewing?  Come to North Channel Branch Library  and join the Strings Attached Needlecraft group.  The group meets the first Wednesday of the month from 4 until 6 pm in the meeting room.  Any type of needlecraft from embroidery to quilting, and knitting to crocheting can be discussed.  

The group  will meet March 7, at 4 pm in the North Channel Branch Library meeting room.  Come and share your latest project, tips and tricks with fellow crafters.

Kickoff Black History Month with North Channel Branch Library, Saturday, February 4th at 2 pm.   Celebrate with music!   Young Audiences will present a history of American Jazz with plenty of instruments and audience participation! Learn about Congo Square in  New Orleans and the history of musical instruments used, such as drums, triangles, and the banjo among others. 
This program will happen in the children's area.  Groups wishing to attend please call the library.

Needlecrafter

The North Channel needlecraft group met January 4, and decided that the name of the group should be Strings Attached.  The group includes people who knit, crochet, quilt, embroidery and do other works of needlecraft.  Members of the group are invited to bring projects they are working on or have completed, as well as share tips and tricks that they have learned.
