New Exhibit at Freeman

Check out the new artwork on our walls!  Freeman Library’s partnership with the Arts Alliance at Clear Lake gives us a chance to see the work of a variety of local artists, and over the next few months we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the work of Fred Cerkan, Peter Janecke and Marlene Llanes in the Marge Jacobson Community Room and in the Internet Café.

Fred Cerkan’s series, Adobe Forms and Textures “explores the various forms and textures found in the adobe walls that are prevalent in the architecture of the Southwest”.  His exhibit focuses on San Francisco de Asis, the mission church in Taos, New Mexico.
