Free Computer Classes

Girl at ComputerLearning new things is not just for school kids! You can learn basic computer skills at the library. We offer free computer classes every Tuesday and Thursday at 3 pm. Come check them out and learn something new this fall!

Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Program Rescheduled

alligatorJina Faith from the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Center will  be here on Tuesday, August 12th at 10:30 am. She will talk about wetland animals and bring some live animals to see up close. You might even get to see a baby alligator!

In addition to the fun programming and reading incentives, this summer the Crosby Branch Library has a weekly drawing. Stop by and see what prize we are offering this week. Be sure to stop by regularly--each week's drawing is meant to appeal to different groups that use the library. Here are some of our winners so far:

Friends Book Sale

Umbrella, book, beach ballSummer is just around the corner---now is the perfect time to pick up a great read at a great price! The Friends of the Crosby Branch Library will host a book sale on Friday, June 6, from 1-6 pm, and Saturday, June 7, from 10-5 pm. New and used items will be on sale in the meeting room.  Proceeds benefit the Crosby Branch Library.

Healthcare Marketplace Help

Assistance will be available at the Crosby Branch Library on Monday, December 16th, from 1 pm to 8 pm, and on Monday, January 6th, from 1 pm to 8 pm. Holiday Craft: Duct Tape Ornaments

Get into the holiday spirit with this fun and easy craft! We will meet at 4:30 pm on Monday, December 2nd.  We will provide all the materials, or you can bring your own duct tape for a custom look.  Either way, we look forward to crafting with you!

November Computer Classes

laptop computerCome and join us every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm to gain computer skills in a variety of applications. This month we will be learning how to use Excel. Class size is limited to 10 students, so come to the library and sign up today!

Halloween Fun @ the Crosby Library

children in Halloween costumes with a pumpkinThe Crosby Branch will be hosting two "spooktacular" programs celebrating Halloween!

On Monday, October 28th, we will be showing an animated Halloween movie at 4:00 pm. Free popcorn and drinks are included! Check with the library for the title of the movie.

On Tuesday, October 29th, at 10:30 am, we will have a special storytime. Come dressed in your costume!  We will have Halloween stories and trick-or-treating in the library, followed by refreshments in the meeting room.
