It’s that time again. Do you know where you want to go? Do you know what you want to see and do once you get there? As usual, the library can be a great help. There are over 300 travel books just at the Fairbanks branch, and the other branches have hundreds more that can be sent to Fairbanks for your convenience. They are from such famous travel publishers as Fodor’s, Frommer’s, Rick Steves, Mobil, and Moon Handbooks. There are tons about the U.S. and Europe, some on Canada, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and a few on Australia, the Middle East, and Africa. So, no matter where you want to go on vacation (or have to go on business), library books can help you figure out what to see, what to do, where to stay, where to eat, and what to buy while you’re there.

Are you between the ages of 14 and 94? Do you need volunteer hours for an organization you belong to or for college applications? Or, do you just want to do something to help out in your community?
