Toys for Tots

We are pleased to announce that West University Library is a drop-off location for Toys for Tots this holiday season.  Please donate new, unwrapped toys, so that they may be destributed as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.  Happy Holidays!

Book Club Selection for January 6

Title to be discussed:The Remains of the Day, by Kazuo Ishiguro.  Date of meeting: Wednesday January 6, 11:00 am, at 6104 Auden.  Summary: "The novel's narrator, Stevens, is a perfect English butler who tries to give his narrow existence form and meaning through the self-effacing, almost mystical practice of his profession.

Meet the ballerinas of the Nutcracker

Come listen to the timeless story of the Nutcracker, on December 2 at 3:15pm, read by a ballerina from the Houston Ballet. Meet several other dancers in costume. Refreshments served. For children ages 4 years and up.
