WU Book Group on Summer Hiatus

Leavin' A TestimonyThe West University Book Group will be taking a break during the summer months.  We will meet again in September, to discuss Leavin' A Testimony, by Patsy Cravens.  The author will be present to talk about her work.  Patsy Cravens is a photographer, artist, writer, and video producer in Houston.

Great Day for a Book sale

Spring booksaleWe had beautiful spring weather for our book sale today, at West University.  We competed with a baseball game across the street and a benefit walk in the neighborhood, but we had plenty of customers stop by to browse through our selection of books.

Spring Book Sale at WU

Check out the book bargains at the Friends of the West University Library used Book sale on Saturday, April 20 from 10 AM to 2 PM. The sale will be held on the covered walkway surrounding West University Library at 6108 Auden Street. All proceeds benefit the programs and collections of the library.
