Tasty Cakes Without the Cholesterol

I don't know about you but I have a sweet tooth. Just look at these cakes in the photo above taken at a grocery store. Yum!! 

If I were to enjoy a generous slice of each of these cakes, though, my cholesterol level would inch its way up higher. What if there were a way to cut the cholesterol but still retain the taste and texture of these cakes? 

Ronald in the House

There was much activity at the Aldine Library yesterday as Ronald McDonald paid a visit to a crowd of eager children. Ronald delighted kids and adults alike with jokes and magic tricks. After the show, Ronald took pictures with families and children. Everyone was lovin' it.

Nature Discovery

Tarantulas, snakes, and rabbits oh my! The first event of the Aldine Branch Library's Summer Program featured a program by the Nature Discovery Center. Children and tweens saw critters up close while learning about the wide world of animals. Stay tuned for more great programs!
