"Smart" App for "Smart" phone

      Did you know that Harris County Public Library has a new App, free at iTunes and the Android Market? It allows you to do most of what you can do on our HCPL web site, like renew, place requests, access the events calendar, and pay your fines. It’s amazing. I was at home when my daughter texted me and asked me to check at the library for a book for her. I already had the phone in my hand so I went to the HCPL Mobile App and looked the book up in the catalog, placed a request on it for her, and then picked it up at the library in just two days.
