Once Upon a Time: Telling Stories Through Clay

Once again the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is bringing art from the museum to the library.  The exhibit this year, Once Upon a Time: Telling Stories through Clay, will be at the library until March 28, 2011.

Come and see each of the nine objects displayed.  What story does each one tell to you?

Don't forget to pick up a bookmark  to find out how to get your free pass to the musuem!

Book Sale

New Year, New Location!

The Friends of the Parker Williams Library will have their first book sale this year on Saturday, January 29th, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Since space was limited at the library, the book sale will be in a new location, by the County Clerk's office.  All you have to do is go across the parking lot, through the entrance door at the County Clerk's office, and proceed to Room 110-D.  There will be plenty of signs leading you to the new location.
