The Friends of La Porte Library have purchased two Hatch Computers and tables for our youngest customers. These computers are loaded with educational and kid-friendly games. Already they are a favorite part of the children's area. Thank you Friends for your continuing support of the Library!

Afterschool Science Time is here again. In honor of Earth Day, Mr. D. will be guiding you to explore nature structures like leaves and make a print on photo-sensitive paper. The event begins Wednesday, April 24 at 3:15 pm.
Join us for the story of Daniel who won't go to bed because he is afraid of the giant in his closet. This is a presentation by Houston Grand Opera's Opera To Go program. Daniel and the Dreamcatcher is a combination of live singers and puppet characters. The program will be offered in the library, Monday, April 22 at 4:00 pm. Come enjoy the music and the story. Appropriate for all ages.
