Another summer full of entertaining and educational crafts and programming has come to a close. We want to give a big thank you to the Friends of La Porte Library for their financial support for all our summer activities. These dedicated people give of themselves weekly to ready the donated books for sale.
Hey kids, can you believe the summer is just about over? Well, join us for an end of summer party to celebrate all the great reading you have accomplished and all the great programs you have attended. The fun begins Thursday, August 2 at 2:00 pm. with a fantastic show by Incredible Events. You can also pick up your certificates and enjoy a frozen treat. This event is brought to you by funding from the Friends of the La Porte Library.
Come see, learn about, and maybe even touch some of our own Texas snakes in this exciting science program. The event begins Thursday, July 26 at 2:00 pm. Recommended for ages 6 and older. This program is provided through funds from the Friends of La Porte Library.
Join renowned puppeteer Jean Kuecher of the Marionette Playhouse as she presents " The Sleeping Beauty and the Handsome Prince." It all begins Thursday, July 19 at 2:00 pm. Will the prince get there in time ...will she awake? Come find out. Recommended for ages 6 and up. This program is made possible from funding by the Friends of the La Porte Library.
Get in the spirit to celebrate the 4th of July with our school age craft. This week you can create your very own patriotic slap bracelet to wear to your Independence Day festivities. The craft begins Tuesday, July 3 at 2:00 pm. All materials provided by funds from the Friends of La Porte Library.
